In its second edition of Instagrammer of the year 2019, the photo and video-sharing social media platform, Instagram has shared the top Instagram influencers in India for 2019. By announcing the winners for Instagrammers of the Year 2019, the social media company aims at acknowledging the platform’s most engaging communities from across the country.
The main categories for the awards were Most Followed, Engaged Account of the Year, Storyteller of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, Fashion, Food & Entertainment accounts of the year and so on.
Most Followed account of the year @priyankachopra
With 39 million followers, actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas topped the Insta chart to become the “Most Followed Account” in 2019. Apart from a robust social media presence and her grand wedding this year, Priyanka’s success on Instagram is mainly attributed to the global fan base she has and the international projects she is working on.
Storyteller of the year @deepikapadukone
With her “impromptu boomerangs at the Cannes Film Festival, glitzy Instagram stories, slo-mo videos while catching a flight or an ‘Ask Me Anything’ sessions with fans,” Deepika Padukone is recognized as the “Storyteller of the Year” for an account that had the most engaging stories.
