Android Users can now download updates from Google Play Store Soon

Google has a good news for the Android users as the search giant will now be changing the way Android updates are delivered on smartphones. As reveled by a recent report generated by 9To5Google, the upcoming version of Android i.e. Android Q will be delivering the system updates via the Google Play Store.

However, the tech giant itself has not announced it officially anywhere yet but as per the report the company at present is testing the method of distributing Android updates through its Play Store on a small scale.

Though there is not much information about the Android Q version as of now but the search engine company will soon be publishing every detail about this new version of Android in the Google I/O 2019 in May 2019. Currently, the Android Q version is being beta tested. Any user interested in trying it will have to sign up for the beta program.

The beta version of the Android Q is only available to Pixel devices for now and that anyone trying to use the version on non-pixel devices will have to wait for the Developer Preview, which is scheduled to release after the Google I/O.

With Android Q, the search giant is expected to roll out a range of privacy features. The company is working towards giving a whole new dimension to app permissions that will help the Android users in understanding better what exactly various apps have access to.
