WhatsApp to launch Business App for iPhone globally

WhatsApp has finally launched its business App for iPhone. The instant messaging service company is rolling out the App globally however as of now it is officially available in a total of seven countries that are India, Brazil, Germany, Mexico, the UK, and the US.

The company had already launched the App for Android in 2018 and that it’s been more than a year the Android version of app has been available in the Google Play Store. Mainly targeted at small businesses, WhatsApp Business App allows businesses to connect with their customers more quickly and efficiently.

The best part is the WhatsApp Business App for iOS can be downloaded for free from App Store. The App will be rolled out for rest of the countries in the coming week. It was first spotted in the month of March in countries like Mexico and Brazil.

With the help of the App, users can create business profiles with information like email, store address, and website. The App also offers various messaging tools like quick replies, greeting messages, away messages and so on allowing users to connect with their customers easily. Moreover, the Business App also supports the WhatsApp for web version, which also supports all the messaging tools.

It’s hardly been over a year, and WhatsApp Business has got considerable amount of traction among businesses. As unveiled by the company, more than 5 million businesses worldwide are currently using the service to connect with their customers.

“Whether it’s an online sweet shop in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil that closes 60 percent of its sales via WhatsApp Business or a cinnamon roll company in Tijuana, Mexico that credits WhatsApp Business for allowing it to open a second location, small business owners all over the world are using the app to grow,” WhatsApp wrote in a blog post. “We’re excited to bring the WhatsApp Business app to even more small businesses and hear new stories about how it’s helping them succeed.”
